We are frequently practicing a “hollow body” position in our warm-ups and we’re often yelling “Hollow! Hollow out!” while you’re working. CrossFit defines “Core Strength” as: Your ability to maintain proper spinal and hip alignment under various loads, volume and movements. In other words, core strength has little to do with your 6-pack or your ability to stand on a wobbly ball like a circus clown. It has everything to do with you being able to maintain proper posture while under duress.
Today is no exception. Practice staying tight and in a neutral posture throughout both the HSPU and the KB Swings.
